Shows bolted on sister floor, detail if aft end of step showing lamination lines, forwardmost ballast bolt top end covered with copper plate for access. Note sister floor and old floor sandwiches bulkhead, which is flush with upper surface of step Sister is atop frame.

Shows lamination lines, the three blocks, the forward ends of sister bolts, heads shown in No. 3

Floor sistering, read real slow, sister DEADWOOD KEEL BOLTS, the floors are fine, not broken. The blocking you see was to distribute forces to the floor and keel top, rather than just the keel top, as was done on OLE' by Linderman. This has been described earlier.

Shows the 3" wide laminated standoff frame under the 3 piece jockstrap. It was notched out for a through hull, no longer here, plug in hull visible. other things shown are the speed/log, toothbrush, green bonding wire, pvc pipe to allow limbering when anchor chain stowed in this frame bay, the taco preventer stay bolt, wedges at fore and aft mast heel, going down into step mortise, rusted 1/4" galv. floor to frame bolting.
