Floor sistering, read real slow, sister DEADWOOD KEEL BOLTS, the floors are fine, not broken. The blocking you see was to distribute forces to the floor and keel top, rather than just the keel top, as was done on OLE' by Linderman. This has been described earlier.

It was notched out for a through hull, no longer here, plug in hull visible. other things shown are the speed/log, toothbrush, green bonding wire, pvc pipe to allow limbering when anchor chain stowed in this frame bay, the taco preventer stay bolt, wedges at fore and aft mast heel, going down into step mortise, rusted 1/4" galv. floor to frame bolting.
