Thursday night..East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet with occasional seas to 5 feet. Period 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop. A slight chance of showers through the night. A slight chance of Thunderstorms after midnight.
Friday..East winds 10 to 15 knots. Along the coast, seas 2 to 3 feet. In the gulf stream, seas 2 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet with occasional seas to 6 feet in the afternoon. Period 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop. A slight chance of showers.

Saturday..East winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet with occasional seas to 6 feet. Intracoastal waters a light chop. A chance of showers and a slight chance of Thunderstorms.
Saturday night..East southeast winds 5 knots becoming north northeast around 5 knots in the morning. Seas 2 to 4 feet with occasional seas to 5 feet. Intracoastal waters smooth. A chance of showers and a slight chance of Thunderstorms.

Synopsis..High pressure continues to dominate south florida waters, moderate east wind will prevail into the weekend with only isolated showers and Thunderstorms. At times, wind speeds may reach 15 kts and small craft should exercise caution, particularly overnight in the atlantic.
Gulf stream hazards..None. The approximate location of the west wall of the gulf stream as of oct 16, 2018 at 1200 utc... 2 nautical miles east southeast of fowey rocks. 7 nautical miles east of port everglades. 6 nautical miles east southeast of lake worth. 8 nautical miles east southeast of jupiter inlet.
