GMZ800 Synopsis For The Coastal Waters From Bonita Beach To Suwannee River 423 Am Est Wed Dec 12 2018 Synopsis..Winds and seas will be favorable for boaters today as high pressure drifts slowly across north florida toward the atlantic. A complex storm system is forecast to cross texas Thursday and Thursday night then move slowly eastward across the northern gulf coast states on Friday, and finally lift northeast across the southeastern u.s. On Saturday. Gale force winds south of the storm will produce large swells that will begin to reach our waters late Friday and Friday night and continue through Saturday. These swells combined with wind saves will create hazardous seas of 6 to 11 feet through Saturday night. Winds and seas will gradually subside on Sunday.
