This afternoon..Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet, occasionally to 5 feet. Bay and inland waters choppy. Showers likely with a slight chance of Thunderstorms early this morning, then a chance of showers with a slight chance of Thunderstorms early.
Tonight..North winds 15 to 20 knots, diminishing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Seas 2 to 4 feet, occasionally to 5 feet. Bay and inland waters choppy.
Friday..Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots, becoming north 5 to 10 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 feet, subsiding to 1 to 2 feet in the afternoon. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop.

Synopsis.. Any precipitation activity across the area tapers off this afternoon as a cold front departs the region but robust northwest to north winds will setup behind the front and continue through tonight. Winds and seas will subside Friday and remain below headline criteria through the weekend. Early next week southeast to south winds will begin to increase as the next cold front approaches from the northwest.
