Synopsis For Altamaha Sound Ga To Flagler Beach Fl Out To 60 Nm
755 Pm Est Sat Feb 23 2019
Synopsis.. A warm front currently over the northeast florida waters will lift northward through the georgia waters overnight as a cold front enters the southeastern u.s. Dense sea fog will persist over portions of the northeast florida and georgia waters tonight. The cold front will then sweep across our waters during the mid to late afternoon hours, accompanied by scattered showers and a few Thunderstorms. High pressure will build into the southeastern states on Sunday evening in the wake of this front, resulting in a brief surge of northerly winds and building seas overnight through early Monday. Winds will quickly shift to northeasterly on Monday morning, with elevated seas persisting offshore. Weak low pressure will then move eastward across south florida towards midweek, keeping light onshore winds in place and resulting in increasing chances for showers and possible Thunderstorms.
