synopsis for the southern california coast and santa barbara channel including the channel islands national marine sanctuary and national park...at 15z, or 8 am pdt, a 1028 mb high was centered 800 nm west of point conception. A 1002 mb low was centered in colorado. Strong to gale force nw to W winds will affect much of the waters into the weekend.
