.gale warning in effect from late tonight through Sunday afternoon...
Today..SE winds 10 to 20 kt. Waves S 2 ft at 4 seconds...and W 14 ft at 14 seconds. Slight chance of showers.
Tonight..SE winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts to around 40 kt. Waves S 8 ft at 9 seconds...and W 8 ft at 13 seconds. Rain likely.
Sun..S winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts to around 40 kt. Waves W 19 ft at 15 seconds. Rain.
Sun night..S winds 10 to 15 kt. Waves S 5 ft at 8 seconds... And W 22 ft at 20 seconds.
Mon..SE winds 5 to 15 kt. Waves W 18 ft at 18 seconds.
Tue..S winds 10 to 15 kt. Waves W 4 ft at 7 seconds...and W 16 ft at 17 seconds.
Wed..SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves W 18 ft at 20 seconds.

Synopsis for northern california waters..Large mid period westerly swell will slowly subside today, however south to southeasterly winds and wind waves will begin to increase ahead of the next storm. Winds are expected to reach gale tonight through Sunday with large seas once again building and becoming steep and hazardous. Long period westerly swell will also start to build on Sunday with heights reaching 20 feet by Sunday evening. Even though the winds will lay down some on Monday, seas will likely remain very high and hazardous.
