A surface low will move into new york and new england this afternoon and evening, with an attendant cold front moving through the northern mid-atlantic by this evening. The low will lift northeastward into the canadian maritimes Wednesday and Thursday, as high pressure builds into the northeast in its wake. Low pressure in the northern gulf of mexico and southeastern u.s. Late this week may develop into a coastal low this weekend.
