Synopsis for northern california waters..Winds and seas will continue to calm down overnight. Coastal fog carried by light southerly winds is possible south of cape mendocino. Wave heights are expected to fall by Friday morning as northerlies continue to diminish. A small, long period southerly swell will minimally impact the overall sea state through Saturday. A weak cold from will cause northerly winds to rapidly increase Saturday afternoon. These northerly winds will further strengthen on Sunday with a high chance of reaching gale conditions.
