Short term (today-Monday)
Mid upper level ridging will remain over the florida peninsula
while surface high pressure along the southeast u.S. Coast today
will drift out into the atlantic ocean tonight and Monday, but
ridge back across florida. Therefore, the fair and dry pattern
weather will persist with temperatures and dew points continuing
to moderate back to several degrees above normal. The only problem
through Monday will be the potential for fog, some of which could
become locally dense, late tonight into early Monday morning.

Mid term long term (Monday night-Saturday)
Ridging at the surface and aloft will keep warm and dry conditions
in place across the area through Wednesday. A disturbance moving
just to the north of the region will then allow for a weak front
to settle into the northern half of the area and bring 20-30
percent rain chances for Wednesday night and Thursday. This
boundary washes out with ridging returning across the area for the
rest of the period. Temperatures will be above normal through the
period with highs generally in the mid 70s to lower 80s each day
and lows in the upper 50s to mid 60s each night.

Aviation
Some patchy fog could affect the inland TAF sites early this
morning, otherwiseVFR conditions are expected to prevail into
early tonight. Late tonight into early Monday morning areas of
fog are anticipated with MVFR local ifr conditions possible
especially over inland areas.

Marine
High pressure north of the region today will setup a southeast
flow across the waters through Monday with a shift to onshore
near the coast with the sea breeze during each afternoon. This
area of high pressure will shift eastward a bit, but continue to
ridge across florida through midweek, with winds gradually
shifting from southeast to southwest. No headlines are expected
for the next several days.

Fire weather
Relative humidity values will remain above critical levels with no
fire weather issues expected through the week as plentiful moisture
remains across the region. Some fog will be possible late each night
into the early morning hours which could become locally dense at
times.

There are five sources. 1) Documents and manuals from a variety of sources. These have not been checked for accuracy and in many cases have not even been read by anyone associated with L-36.com. I have no idea of they are useful or accurate, I leave that to the reader. 2) Articles others have written and submitted. These are not intended to be fact, they are my opinions. 4) Small programs that generate result presented on a web page. Like any computer program, these may and in some cases do have errors. Almost all of these also make simplifying assumptions so they are not totally accurate even if there are no errors. Please verify all results. 5) Weather information is from numerious of sources and is presented automatically. It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
