Synopsis for high island to matagorda ship channel out 60 nm.. Gale warnings are in effect through Tuesday morning for the strong and gusty north winds and very rough seas that are developing in the wake of the passage of the cold front. Winds and seas will begin to slowly come down Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night but caution flags and advisories will likely still be needed. Winds and seas will continue to come down through the remainder of the week with winds eventually becoming east to southeast by Friday night or Saturday.
