Synopsis for high island to the matagorda ship channel out 60 nm including galveston and matagorda bays
light to moderate onshore winds are expected through early next week and may require caution flags at times. High risk of rip currents along the gulf facing coasts is also possible. The next cold front is expected to move through on Tuesday and moderate to strong offshore winds and elevated seas will develop in the wake of the front Tuesday night through Wednesday. Small craft advisories may be needed.
