Low pressure just southeast of the 40n/70w benchmark early Friday morning, intensifies into a gale center Friday afternoon and then into a powerful sub 980 mb low over the maritimes tonight. This strong low lifts north into quebec Sat, with nw gales easing across the ma/ri waters later in the day. A weak clipper low then zips across the waters Sat night. Weak high pressure follows for Sunday and Monday. Another strong low may impact new england mid to late next week. |
