Today..NE wind 5 to 10 kt...backing to N in the afternoon. Wind waves N 2 ft at 4 seconds. SW swell 1 to 2 ft at 15 seconds. SWell and nw 3 ft in the afternoon.
Tonight..N wind 5 kt...backing to sw after midnight. Wind waves less than 2 ft. SWell sw 1 to 2 ft at 15 seconds and W 1 to 2 ft at 12 seconds.
Sat..S wind 10 to 15 kt...veering to W late in the afternoon. Wind waves sw 2 ft at 4 seconds. SW swell 1 to 2 ft at 14 seconds. Showers.
Sat night..W wind 5 to 10 kt...veering to N after midnight. Wind waves nw 3 ft at 6 seconds. SWell W 5 to 6 ft at 10 seconds. Slight chance of showers through the night.
Sun..NE wind 5 kt...backing to N 5 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves nw 2 ft at 5 seconds. SWell W 6 to 7 ft at 12 seconds...building to W 8 ft at 12 seconds in the afternoon.

Synopsis for the southern oregon coastal waters..A weakening thermal trough will maintain steep, hazardous seas through early this morning. Steep seas will shift to beyond 10 nm from shore and south of cape blanco by late morning, then subside below small craft advisory levels this afternoon. Conditions improve tonight with relatively light winds and low seas into Saturday, though a weak cold front will move through on Saturday with some rain. Gusty north winds and steep seas are expected to return later in the weekend with possible gales and very steep, hazardous seas south of cape blanco late Sunday into Monday.
