We filled in the pockets on the old floors and the new keel bolts will go through bronze plates across the top of the floors. This will distribute the weight more as the old set-up was tending to cause failures in the pockets.

The mast has a key that fits into this slot. It is also adjustable fore and aft but was set-up full forward

Notice that one of the keel bolt holes isn't where it should be. This is the several tons of lead that keeps the boat upright.
