Synopsis for hawaiian coastal waters.. A ridge will sit over the island today and erode from the west slowly as a front approaches from the northwest. The front will stall and slowly dissipate near kauai on Friday. Fresh to strong trade winds will fill behind the front as a new high moves north of area.
