Synopsis For The Coastal Waters From Bonita Beach To Suwannee River
416 Am Edt Wed Sep 18 2019
Synopsis.. With hurricane humberto to our northeast and weak high pressure in the gulf, generally light north to northeast winds and seas are expected through today. Some showers and Thunderstorms will move over the waters by this evening through the overnight hours ahead of an advancing backdoor cold front. By Thursday, this front will have moved across the area with high pressure building back in to our north and strong northeast winds. As a result, several days of headline or advisory criteria are likely to be met through most of the weekend so mariners should stay alert to the latest forecast if planning to venture out this week.
