Synopsis For The Coastal Waters From Bonita Beach To Suwannee River
808 Pm Edt Mon Sep 21 2020
Synopsis..Hazardous marine conditions to continue into Tuesday as strong northeast winds will persist across the area thanks to interaction between strong high pressure to the north and a frontal boundary to the south. Small craft advisory conditions are expected for eastern gulf waters, including the bays. A gale watch remains in effect for offshore areas this afternoon through the evening as frequent wind gusts around 34 knots are possible. Conditions gradually improve Tuesday although winds and seas likely to remain elevated before diminishing further on Wednesday.
