Wednesday..West winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming south in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 feet. Wave detail: northeast 4 feet at 12 seconds and east 2 feet at 5 seconds. A light chop on the intracoastal waters.
Wednesday night..Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming west after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Wave detail: northeast 3 feet at 12 seconds and north 2 feet at 5 seconds. Mostly smooth on the intracoastal waters.

Synopsis..Winds remain relatively light through midweek as high pressure builds over the local waters. However, long-period swells will keep seas elevated, maintaining poor boating conditions in the gulf stream today. These swells will also lead to poor to hazardous conditions near inlets during the outgoing tide through tonight.
Gulf stream hazards..Occasional seas to 6 feet south of cape canaveral.
