Tonight..Southeast winds around 10 knots, becoming south after midnight. Seas around 2 feet. Wave detail: southeast 2 feet at 5 seconds.
Friday..West winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming southeast in the afternoon. Seas around 2 feet in the morning, then around 2 feet or less. Wave detail: southeast 1 foot at 5 seconds. A slight chance of showers and Thunderstorms in the morning.

Synopsis for the middle texas coastal waters..
weak to occasionally moderate south to southeasterly flow will persist through the middle of next week. Winds may become variable at times through early this weekend as a boundary nears the region. Low to medium rain chances of 20 to 50 percent through weekend will increase to medium to high chances of 50 to 70 percent heading into the middle of next week.
