This flow during the summer typically gives us scattered to widespread showers over the gulf which we have already seen today. Expect showers to form in the gulf overnight and the early morning hours through the weekend which will start to push towards the coast and inland in the afternoon hours. Winds will shift to a more easterly direction during early next week as the ridge builds back north lower showers chances in the gulf but increasing them inland. Besides showers and Thunderstorm no other marine hazards are expected through the period.
