Synopsis for high island to the matagorda ship channel out 60 nm including galveston and matagorda bays light winds and low seas will prevail for the next several days. Daily isolated to scattered showers and storms are expected. Stronger storms could produce wind gusts to 30 knots, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. The best chances will be in the morning through early afternoon hours.
