Synopsis for high island to matagorda ship channel out 60 nm.. Onshore winds will persist through midweek. A weak cold front is expected to slowly move through southeast texas on Tuesday, but will likely not reach the coast until Wednesday night. Northeast winds will develop in the wake of the front for Thursday with winds briefly veering to the east on Friday ahead of another cold front on Friday night. Moderate to strong northeast winds will develop next weekend in the wake of Friday nights front.
