Synopsis..
high pressure building into the southeastern states this morning will shift over the local waters this evening and then shift offshore on Saturday. Elevated north to northeasterly winds this morning will steadily diminish later this afternoon and turn more east to northeasterly. Seas will continue to gradually subside tonight and Saturday as winds shift about from the south. Winds will be south to southwesterly Sunday and Monday as the high shifts southeast of the waters and increase Tuesday afternoon ahead of an approaching strong cold front. Showers will be possible after midnight on Tuesday night.
