Synopsis for lower atchafalaya river la to high island tx out 60 nm including sabine and calcasieu lakes and vermilion and cote blanche bays..
marine fog will be a concern again into the early am hours overnight. A quasi-stationary front will shift further offshore, offering drier air toward the coast. At present moment, this suggest chances of dense fog will decrease offshore after midnight. However, given that winds will become light and variable offshore there is some uncertainty here. Onshore winds reestablish early Friday. An approaching front will lead to an increase in onshore winds with small craft advisories possible on Saturday. With this front, strong to severe Thunderstorms will be possible over the waters, so please continue to Monitor the forecast.
