Synopsis for the far southern ca coast.. At 1 am, a 1024 mb high was over eastern idaho, a 1010 mb low was over needles, and a 1003 mb low was 700 nautical miles west of punta colonet, mexico, at the center of former tropical cyclone marie. Localized offshore flow is expected in the near shore waters this morning, turning northwest. A coastal eddy will develop later today and tonight, then strengthen for Thursday night through Sunday.
