Synopsis for eastern north carolina coastal waters.. A cold front will sweep off the coast this evening. Cool high pressure will build over the eastern united states Friday and Saturday. A strong area of low pressure will push a warm front across the area Sunday into Monday, followed by another cold front approaching the coast by the middle of next week.
