Synopsis for eastern north carolina coastal waters.. Strong low pressure south of cape hatteras will slowly lift northeast and further offshore through Monday. A mainly dry cold front will push through Tuesday with high pressure building into the area Wednesday and Thursday. Another cold front will push through late in the week.
