Synopsis for the central california coast and bays including the Monterey bay..Greater farallones...and cordell bank national marine sanctuaries... In the outer waters, breezy northwest winds continue across the waters. Gusty coastal jets should return by Sunday afternoon south of point arena, pigeon point, and point sur. Then, stronger northwest winds will persist north of point reyes and the farallones from late Sunday through mid week next week. Gale force gusts may be possible in the northern waters by late Monday. These stronger winds will produce steep to very steep wind waves and hazardous conditions for smaller vessels. A moderate northwest swell prevails through the period with a smaller longer period southerly swell.
