Synopsis for the central california coast and bays including the Monterey bay..Greater farallones...and cordell bank national marine sanctuaries... High pressure over the west coast will keep strong northerly surface pressure gradients in place into Tuesday with the strongest winds over the offshore waters. By midweek winds will ease slightly as the gradient eases while a longer period swell passes through. Wind and seas will increase later Saturday into Sunday as the next storm approaches from the pacific northwest.
