Synopsis for northern california waters..Southeasterly winds accelerate in the outer waters this afternoon, primarily in the southern outers. Winds weaken and turn northerly Wednesday, then strengthen late Thursday behind a weak frontal passage. Otherwise, a series of larger, fresh nw swells are expected by Friday and this weekend.
