Synopsis for massachusetts and rhode island coastal waters.. A stalled frontal boundary will remain across the ri and southern ma waters through Wednesday, along with weak areas of low pressure traversing the front. This will yield areas of fog, drizzle and showers, especially at night. More numerous showers along with scattered Thunderstorms are likely Thursday/thu night ahead of an approaching cold front. Behind the frontal passage Friday, drier weather along with improving vsby overspread the ri and ma waters, that lingers into the weekend as high pressure builds from the great lakes into new england this weekend.
