Synopsis for the southern oregon coastal waters..A weak thermal trough remains in place over waters south of cape blanco. Northerly winds under this trough will build steep seas, and the strongest winds will be south of port orford. Steep seas will continue through at least Saturday morning and are likely to be below advisory levels by early next week.
