Synopsis..High pressure of 30.40 inches over central wisconsin moves across the northern great lakes today. It is followed by low pressure, 29.80 inches, and a cold front by Wednesday morning. This system brings showers and a few Thunderstorms tonight before high pressure builds back into the region for Wednesday. An active pattern of weather then continues through the late week period highlighted by mild air Thursday and Friday, and a stronger cold front by Friday night. Today..North winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northeast 5 to 10 knots in the late morning and afternoon. Partly Sunny. Waves 2 feet or less.
Tonight..Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming south 15 to 20 knots early in the morning. Showers likely and a chance of Thunderstorms in the evening...then showers and a chance of Thunderstorms after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
Wednesday..Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west 10 to 15 knots early in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy. Showers likely and a chance of Thunderstorms in the morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
Wednesday night..West winds 5 to 10 knots early in the evening becoming light and variable...then becoming northeast 5 to 10 knots after midnight. Partly cloudy in the evening...then mostly cloudy with a chance of showers after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
