Synopsis for the southern washington and northern oregon coast.. An upper trough grazes the region to the northeast today with winds staying out of the north to northwest. Headed through the rest of the week a ridge of high pressure builds over the eastern pacific before shifting overhead this weekend. As a result rather benign summer-like conditions are expected across the waters.
