DISCUSSION
Troughing remains aloft over the eastern part of the country this afternoon while surface high pressure over the Atlantic extends westward over Florida. The upper-level trough will shift eastward over the next couple of days, with heights then rising over the region. Strong high pressure aloft will then take hold over the Gulf this weekend through next week, keeping above normal temperatures and low rain chances in the forecast.

VFR conditions are anticipated through the forecast period. Some patchy fog is forecast north of the terminals, so have not included mention in the TAFs at this time.
MARINE
