Monday - East winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots, becoming north 5 to 10 knots in the afternoon. Seas around 2 feet. Wave detail: southeast 2 feet at 4 seconds. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop.

Monday night - North winds 10 to 15 knots, becoming east after midnight. Seas around 2 feet. Wave detail: southeast 2 feet at 4 seconds and north 1 foot at 3 seconds. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop.

Existing forecast remains on track requiring no evening update adjustments. Stable, rain-free conditions continue across the area as high pressure remains in control. Patchy late night/early morning fog potential continues mainly across the Nature Coast, otherwise mostly clear skies overnight with lows in the 50s/60s.

.SHORT TERM (TDY-MON)...

Very few clouds decorating the skies with dry airmass and high pressure keeping control over the region. This benign weather pattern will allow temperatures to gradually warm up during today and Monday. Afternoon highs climb up into the mid to upper 80s, especially along the coast. Rain has left the forecast and will be absent for a while. Meanwhile, winds remain out of the east and breezy, but decreasing overnight. Lows tonight drop into the low to mid 60 with areas along the Nature Coast in the upper 50s.
Moisture should be high enough though to support night to morning low clouds and patchy fog in some areas during this time.

Similar conditions are anticipated on Monday with slightly warmer temperatures areawide.

.LONG TERM (TUE-SAT)...

The rest of the week, upper level ridge and surface high pressure continue to dominate keeping above normal temperatures and dry conditions in place over the state. Afternoon highs to reach the low to mid 90s. Easterly winds prevail and decrease towards the end of the forecast period. No rain is expected during this time.

Area of high pressure remains in control over the Gulf waters this week. Cautionary level winds are anticipated each day through midweek, especially during the evening and early overnight hours. Very warm and dry conditions will be in place during this time.
