Monday night..Southwest winds around 5 knots then becoming west late in the evening, then becoming north around 10 knots after midnight. Seas 2 feet or less. Bay and inland waters a light chop. A slight chance of showers in the evening. Patchy sea fog after midnight.
Tuesday..East winds 10 to 15 knots diminishing to 5 to 10 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 feet. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. A slight chance of showers in the morning, then a chance of showers in the afternoon.

GMZ800 Synopsis For The Coastal Waters From Bonita Beach To Suwannee River- 851 Pm Est Sun Feb 28 2021
Synopsis..High pressure will hold over the region through Monday night. A weak cold front will approach and move south through the waters late Tuesday through Wednesday with some showers along and ahead of it. In the wake of the front high pressure will build in with northwest to north winds expected across the waters during Thursday, then becoming northeast on Friday. Wind and seas should remain below 15 knots and 5 feet through the period with no headlines expected.

Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Tampa Bay Ruskin FL 846 PM EST Sun Feb 28 2021

DISCUSSION. A few stray showers over the interior this evening that should dissipate over the next hour or so. Warm and humid overnight with light winds will allow for some patchy fog across much of the area. Lows on track to fall into the mid 60s north to around 70 along the coast. Current forecast is on track and have only made a slight adjustment to the POP area to include the southern zones.

AVIATION. Winds becoming light and shifting back to the SE for the overnight hours, with VFR expected through at least 08Z. Some low clouds and fog will then be possible 08-13z mainly, with MVFR to locally IFR possible. VFR then returns after sunrise, and winds shift back to the SW and increase with SCT-BKN VFR CU developing through the afternoon.

MARINE. South to southeast winds AOB 15 knots will continue under high pressure with some patchy sea fog possible mainly across the northern waters tonight. A front is expected to move into the area Monday night and stall, then finally push through the area Wednesday. A few showers will be possible during this. High pressure then returns for the end of the week. No headlines are expected through the period. Current forecast is on track.
