To begin the period, a low pressure system continues to move into the state from the southeast...this system will bring increase rain chances to the state through Monday afternoon before pushing away from the state. High pressure is expected to build in behind this low bringing with it above average temperatures by the middle of next week.
As mentioned above, the low pressure system, located just to the southeast of the state...has push ashore from the Gulf Coast and is expected to track towards the northwest towards the state. Organized severe weather is not expected with this system, although a few rumbles of thunder cannot be ruled out. Additionally, up to a half inch to an inch of additional rain is expected across portions of the state through Monday afternoon.
High pressure will move in behind this system bringing well-above average temperatures by the middle of next week. Some rain chances will return to the forecast by the end of the period for Friday with some severe weather potential late next week and into next weekend.
With that said, it is still too far out for exact details.
As mentioned above, temperatures are expected to get well-above average by the middle of next week. So enjoy those temperatures out there this weekend because change is coming! High temperatures are expected to be in the upper 60s to mid 70s this weekend and into Monday before increasing into the lower 80s to mid 90s by Wednesday into Friday.
