- Increasing chance for elevated/critical fire weather conditions on Wednesday mainly Palmer Divide and east central plains.
- Pattern change on Wednesday as a cold front moves across in the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms over northern areas of the plains may be accompanied by brief wind gusts up to 60 mph.

Updated fcst to add isold storms to the far nern plains where sfc based cape will be around 1000 j/kg. However, soundings show capping inversion may inhibit storm development, so kept pops in the isold category.

VFR through tonight. Some uncertainty in wind directions this afternoon, we will likely see a shift from westerly to S or SE in the 21z-24z time frame. We expect any northerly component this afternoon to be under 8 knots. Winds should shift back to southwest to west directions around 03z.
