MARINE... Issued at 128 PM EST Wed Dec 6 2023 The northerly windy winds over the Gulf waters will be decreasing this afternoon into this evening and by late tonight be in the moderate conditions. The winds will continue to decrease to 10 knots or less and swing to more of an easterly direction through late this week. The winds will then swing to more of a southerly direction this weekend while increasing to breezy conditions late this week ahead of the cold front. The seas in the gulf waters of West Central Florida will be subsiding from 5 to 7 feet this afternoon to 1 to 3 feet by Thursday and remain at these levels through this weekend. The Gulf seas could then increase to 2 to 4 feet near-shore up to 5 feet offshore early next week with the passage of the late weekend cold front. Therefore, the SCA for the Gulf waters will be allowed to expire this afternoon.
