MARINE... (Issued 340 PM CST Wed Dec 6 2023) Southwest winds will continue to accelerate over the lake this evening, with gusts up to 30 kts. Winds should begin to subside after midnight. South to southwest winds will then continue with occasional periods of 25 kt gusts through Friday as a strong low pressure of 29.2 inches travels east across the northern Great Lakes region. Winds should shift from southwest to northwest Saturday into Sunday as the low continues eastward and high pressure builds into the Rocky Mountains.
