Discussion for Medford, OR
MARINE...Updated 200 AM Tuesday November 28, 2023...Seas will remain swell dominated through much of the week, with wave heights hovering at or below 6 ft through Thursday morning. The exception will be this afternoon and evening when low pressure passing to the south will bring an increase of southeast winds over the outer waters south of Cape Blanco. While wind speeds will remain below advisory criteria, the increase will be just enough to generate steep seas beyond 25 nm from shore south of Bandon, so a Small Craft Advisory has been issued. Conditions ease later tonight and remain relatively quiet into early Thursday. Then, active weather returns with multiple fronts expected to pass through the region Thursday through the weekend into early next week. Expect periods of gusty south winds with building swell and wind seas. -DW
