Synopsis.. A ridge averaging 30.00 inches briefly builds in tonight as a low of 29.50 inches moves from near central illinois toward central indiana. This low will move east to the mid-atlantic region by Thursday night and Friday, allowing a trough averaging 29.70 inches to become established over and near lake erie. A ridge averaging 30.00 inches will briefly build eastward across lake erie Friday night before another trough averaging 29.70 inches arrives from the western great lakes on Saturday. Behind the trough, a ridge averaging 30.00 inches should build eastward across the great lakes on Sunday and then depart to the east coast by Monday.

Overnight..Northwest winds 5 to 15 knots becoming northeast. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 2 feet.
Thursday..Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots. Isolated showers late in the morning. Scattered showers early in the afternoon, then numerous showers late. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet.
Thursday night..Northeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Showers in the evening, then a chance of showers overnight. Waves 3 to 6 feet building to 4 to 7 feet, then subsiding to 3 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
Friday..North winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northeast 5 to 15 knots. A chance of showers. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
Friday night..West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest. A chance of showers in the evening. Waves 1 foot or less.
Saturday..Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming north. A chance of showers during the day. Waves 2 feet or less.
Sunday..Northwest winds 5 to 15 knots becoming south. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
Monday..Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming south. A chance of showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
