Synopsis for the middle texas coastal waters..
the small craft advisory has been extended through Sunday morning in response to a persistent strong onshore flow across the marine zones. Winds may weaken slightly tonight, but will quickly ramp up by early Saturday with seas remaining elevated. A few showers and Thunderstorms will be possible today as a weak disturbance tracks over the area. The strong onshore flow is expected to linger through Sunday night, leading to additional small craft advisory conditions. Winds will diminish Monday with weak to moderate onshore flow persisting through the upcoming week. Isolated to scattered showers and Thunderstorms are possible daily Sunday through the upcoming week.
