Saturday night..East winds 15 to 20 knots, increasing to 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots after midnight. Seas 2 to 4 feet with a dominant period of 6 seconds, building to 4 to 6 feet with a dominant period of 6 seconds after midnight. Protected waters rough.

elevated southeast winds to continue into the weekend, with advisory level conditions overnight and into tomorrow afternoon across waters west of apalachicola. The strongest winds are likely to be via nocturnal easterly surges, especially late Saturday to early Sunday. Winds and seas will relax to more favorable conditions early next week.
