Synopsis for the central california coast and bays including the Monterey bay..Greater farallones...and cordell bank national marine sanctuaries... Strong northwest winds persist through the first half of next week, with occasional gale-force gusts expected along coastal jet areas and over the outer waters. Winds will diminish mid-week to become moderate and southerly. Steep wind waves this weekend and into the middle portion of next week will contribute to hazardous small craft conditions.
