Synopsis..
the axis of atlantic high pressure will lift northward early this week, becoming positioned across the northeast florida waters today and then across the georgia waters by Tuesday and Wednesday. Coverage of showers and Thunderstorms will decrease across our local waters as prevailing onshore winds develop. Atlantic high pressure will then shift southward late this week and next weekend as troughing shifts into the southeast states, providing a prevailing south wind flow that should increase chances for showers and Thunderstorms across our local waters.
