Synopsis..High pressure, 30.10 inches, builds in briefly this morning before a weak low moves into the upper mississippi valley this afternoon. This system sends a warm front north across the region tonight with a cold front following Sunday morning. High pressure builds back in for the early work week.

Rest of today..Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Areas of dense fog late in the morning. Patchy dense fog in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
Tonight..East winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southeast 10 to 15 knots in the late evening and overnight. A chance of showers after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet early in the morning.
Sunday..South winds 10 to 15 knots veering to the southwest in the late morning and early afternoon...then becoming southwest 10 to 15 knots early in the afternoon. A chance of showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet in the late morning and afternoon.
Sunday night..North winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
Monday..North winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the northeast late in the evening. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
Tuesday..East winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots. Showers likely and a chance of Thunderstorms until early morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
Wednesday..South winds 10 to 15 knots veering to the southwest until early evening...then veering to the southwest 10 to 15 knots in the late evening and early morning. A chance of Thunderstorms early in the morning. A chance of showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
