Synopsis for stonington me to merrimack river ma out to 25 nm high pressure crosses the waters this morning, with increasing southwesterly flow on the backside of the high developing late today and tonight. A weak front crosses the waters late tonight and tomorrow morning. High pressure builds back in during the day tomorrow as the high center passes to the south and moves into the central atlantic by Wednesday. A deepening low pressure tracks west of the waters, potentially bringing gale to low end storm conditions on Wednesday and Wednesday night ahead of a strong cold front. Northwesterly gales are then possible behind the front on Thursday as high pressure builds across the waters.
